TIME

SECOND

Is a second too little for you?

Light will travel 299 792 458 metres in vaquum,

Earth will pass 29 785,9 m round the Sun,

All for just one second.

MINUTE - 60 SECONDS

How often do you say someone "just a minute"?

Did not notice? And do you comply with this period?

Do you waste your time? In our modern world all is done to accelerate processes (cars, planes, Internet), we still lack of time. Even a minute.

Could you, by the way, answer if a minute late costed you too much? One day you missed your flight, another day the train left without you. The whole life can be wasted.

HOUR - 60 MINUTES

Well, let's suppose that you are a business family man. Your life is strictly scheduled.

Now take another look at your schedule. Have an hour for your friends or family? No? So you are not a family man. Even if you have a family, you are not a family man.

in an hour

Eleven earthquakes feels somewhere in the world;
The world's population grows by 9.300;
75 million USD is spent on all kinds of weapons;
Every hour the planet Earth travels 66.620 miles around the sun;
Your heart beats 4.800 times;
Your hair sgrows 0.18796 mm;
12.540.000 cans of Coca-Cola is drunk;
17.465 bottles of whisky are produced in Scotland;
1.426.940 letters are sends;
The Pentagon in Washington receives 8.300 telephone calls;
And besides, in 1 hour our planet travels 66 620 miles round the Sun.

DAY 24 HOURS

There are two types of people - those who live for the day and those who live for tomorrow. As a rule they don't understand each other, as those, who are used to planning their actions, looking ahead, consider those, who live from hand to mouth to be flippant.

They are mostly right, as there are a lot of fables, teaching us to plan. Remember The Ant and the Grasshopper.

WEEK - 7 DAYS

It is considered that athe custom to divide a week into seven days appeared in Babylon. Babylonians were renowned as skilled astronomers and discovered seven planets, which were connected with a certain period of time. That's why "seven" is a sacred number and bears a name of some important god.

The custom was followed by Romans. Some days were named after gods by some Germanic peoples as well (Tuesday - after Tiw, Wednesday - after Wodan, Thursday - after Thor, Friday - after Frigg).

There were also peoples, which named days after ceremonial or economic cares.

Weekly plans and reports.

MONTH - 28 - 31 DAYS

Month is such a period, which begins with thoughts of unpaid internet and other bills and finishes with reseiving salary. At least for an employee. An Entrepreneur as a rule begins every month with Planning and finishes with analysis. Or all-out effort.

Paying taxes. Reports and planning. Operative analysis.

YEAR - 365 DAYS

A year is not just a period, but also an indicator. It shows, what is reached, what is lost.

Someone can not see, how fast this period pasts, someone vice versa, fixes everything, makes conclusions.

Strategy. Yearly reports.

DECADE 10 YEARS

A decade can become an era in some cases (in technology or fasion).

10 years will past and something is to be thrown or scraped, something new will appear.

CENTURY - 100 YEARS

A Century is a very long time for a single human being, but not for mankind in the whole.

The later century caused such changes in a human body, that it received a longer live, higher intelligence and strength, which made us larger and stronger.

MILLENIUM

It is well known that if to take into account the period of existance of the the Eastern Roman Empire, we can conclude that it existed for more than 1000 years. Some other empires (Babylon, Assiria, Egypt, Persia) lived even longer.

The secret of their survivability was based on allegiance to the principles, developed during cencuries. They created themselves and mostly destryed themselves. Even without the help of invaders. Some fell during disasters, such as Migration Periods, some survived them, but then, being incapable of adapting to ever changing conditions, inavitably ceased to exist.

Any company, built to live forever, must be flexible enough to adapt to the current situation and mobilize its resourses when disastrous times come.

ERA-

Era is the begining of new countdown. There can be era of dinosaurs or cell phones era.

Era can either last for millions of years or can hardly reach a decade.
